DESCRIPTION
Synopsis
Here's a low budget frolic in aquatic horror, in the same vein as CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON or JAWS, but AQUANOIDS does not take itself too seriously and still boasts a lot of good filmmaking. The missing humanoids and swimmers who wash up dead on the shore on an island off the California coast may be an indication of some kind of underwater sea creature, but it could also be fueling a longstanding urban legend. While the public would prefer to remain in denial, a local scientist knows otherwise. Could he be causing more problems for society than solving them.
